Die functie is veelal verloren gegaan door gebruik van andere middelen waarmee dat vaak beter en sneller ging. Dat geldt ook voor onze molen, die vooral een toeristische en maatschappelijke functie heeft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monumentenwetgeving regelt de bescherming van rijksmonumenten en molenstichtingen kregen zo&#8217;n zestig jaar geleden vorm en ontfermden zich over het behoud van de Nederlandse molen. De monumentale waarde van de molens is waarop beleid door overheden wordt gevormd. De omgeving waarin een molen zich bevindt is erg belangrijk. Haalt een molen zijn aandrijving uit wind, zoals onze molen De Hoop dat doet, dan moet dit element wind wel voldoende aanwezig zijn. Bij windmolens voert de oorzaak terug naar bouw van woningen en hoge beplanting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.molens.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">De Hollandsche Molen<\/a> heeft 2025 daarom uitgeroepen tot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.molens.nl\/jaarvandemolenbiotoop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">het jaar van de molenbiotoop<\/a>. Een onder werp waar je misschien zo snel bij stilstaat, maar wat voor het behoud van het erfgoed wel van belang is. Dat geldt ook onze molen De Hoop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024 heeft de provincie Gelderland de molenbiotoop ge\u00efnventariseerd om goed inzicht te hebben en houden in de windhinder. In 2009 was op een vergelijkbare manier onderzoek gedaan waardoor vergelijk mogelijk is.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resultaten van de molenbiotoopinventarisatie Gelderland 2024 zijn te vinden op <a href=\"https:\/\/gelderland2024.molenbiotoop.nl\/\">https:\/\/gelderland2024.molenbiotoop.nl\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In het <a href=\"https:\/\/gelderland2024.molenbiotoop.nl\/biotooprapporten\/14.pdf\">biotoop rapport (no.14)<\/a>  &#8211; over molen De Hoop Elden &#8211; wordt deze beoordeeld als &#8220;<strong>zeer slecht<\/strong>&#8220;. Voor gebruikte methodiek zie <a href=\"https:\/\/gelderland2024.molenbiotoop.nl\/rapport.pdf\">Algemeen Rapport<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zonder aandacht voor de omgeving staan veel molens straks stil. Wij willen onze molen ook graag in beweging houden.
